The acquisition by TiCan offers many benefits to our customers. TiCan is a Danish co-operative owned by the farmers that supply the pigs. Our slaughterhouse in Thisted kills 1.8m pigs per year and because of this alliance with the farmers, we can offer complete control of the traceability chain from farm to plate.
